With 20 years of experience working in schools and educational organisations, Jeremy has extensive knowledge of education systems and school performance improvement. Acting as a mentor to Best Performance's clients, Jeremy brings his experience as an ambitious educator and passion to enhance school outcomes. He has a goal of improving the education system by implementing evidence based decision making across all schools. Jeremy holds a Bachelor of Education, a Chartered Director designation and an MBA from Deakin University.
Jefri is a primary school teacher and former auditor. His background is diverse and includes working for Deloitte (a multinational firm), as well as teaching in challenging schools around Perth. He has a passion for enhancing student results through technology and believes innovation is the key to advance student performance. Jefri has constantly utilised his creative, technology focused teaching methods leading to stronger results in the classroom. His innovative lessons were featured in the Gazette. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce from UWA (Accounting/Finance), a Graduate Diploma in Primary Education and a Graduate Diploma in Secondary Education (Mathematics).
Olivia Johnston is an experienced teacher and educational researcher who believes we can improve student educational outcomes by refining how educators use evidence to inform classroom practice. Her research expertise is in the ability grouping of students into streamed classes and her current research is about social equity in education, teacher expectations, and student voice. Olivia’s teaching background is secondary school English and Humanities and Socials Sciences and she has worked in a variety of public and private schools across the Perth Metropolitan area. She currently works as a lecturer and tutor in initial teacher training programs at local universities.
Claire is our Schools Coordinator. She has over twenty years experience working in higher education and liaising with primary and secondary schools. Claire is passionate about working with systems for continuous improvement and helping communicate these changes to stakeholders. Claire has a degree in Management and Business. Originally from South Wales UK, she emigrated to WA in 2008.
Karen is our bookkeeper. She has worked for multiple companies as a bookkeeper or accounts administrator and is excited to bring her experience to Best Performance. Karen is passionate about client service and believes it is key to all companies. Karen holds a Certificate IV in Bookkeeping (Accounting Technology & Technician).
Hanson is our Data formatter. His experience with data analytics spreads across Education, Health Sciences as well as Astrophysics. He is passionate about utilising data science techniques, with the potential of implementing Artificial Intelligence. The goals of his projects are to help educators make rational decisions in their teaching environments. He holds a Masters in Data Science from UWA and a Bachelor of Mathematical Sciences from Auckland University of Technology. Hanson was also part of the New Zealand National Table Tennis Squad and has competed in various international tournaments.
Danielle is our passionate data analyst. She is currently working on project design for future products. Her diverse background in multiple industries has refined her organisation skills and compliments her keen attention to detail. Outside of work, she conducts research in Forensic Science at the University of Western Australia (UWA). She holds a Bachelor of Science majoring in Human Biology, Physiology and Anatomy and a Graduate Diploma in Forensic Anthropology from UWA. Danielle is also a certified black belt in Taekwondo.
Cecilia is part of our data analysis team. She is currently studying her Masters in Primary Education at Curtin University. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management from Switzerland and has worked in different fields from NGOs to auction houses. Her diverse work experiences in Switzerland, United States and United Kingdom has developed her refine her communication skills. Cecilia is a qualified yoga teacher and used to teach in Geneva for a non-profit organization helping disadvantaged communities in Sierra Leone.
